Exhaust emission testing (AU) pursuant to Annex VIlla No. 6.8.2 StVZO

"Holders of motor vehicles powered by spark-ignition or compression-ignition engines [...] shall have the exhaust gases of their motor vehicle [...] inspected at the intervals specified."

In this regularly repeated investigation of motor vehicles, the legally prescribed exhaust gas behavior (e.g. carbon monoxide CO) of the internal combustion engine of your vehicle is checked, so that there is no unnecessary emission of exhaust gases while driving and thus also the fuel consumption of the vehicle based on the measured CO value the exhaust gas tester is checked.
